Position Summary
As the Senior Managing Director, Employee Experience, you will lead Intercare’s Employee Engagement Wing, driving initiatives that promote connection, recognition, and inclusion across our diverse workforce. This leadership role is accountable for shaping a holistic employee experience, from onboarding to engagement to retention, ensuring that every team member feels valued and inspired.

This is a mission-critical position for building an organizational culture rooted in belonging, purpose, and collaboration.

Salary: Starting at 150k

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the employee engagement strategy across the organization, aligned with Intercare’s values and growth objectives
  • Recognition & Celebration Programs: Lead the design and execution of initiatives that recognize birthdays, milestones, anniversaries, and everyday contributions
  • Surveying & Listening: Oversee recurring employee pulse checks, engagement surveys, and action planning
  • Onboarding Excellence: Continuously improve onboarding experiences for new hires across departments, ensuring clarity, inclusion, and retention
  • Internal Communications: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to shape compelling messaging that reflects our culture and values
  • DEI Initiatives: Support and amplify Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programming, communications, and visibility
  • Culture & Morale: Champion and scale programs that build morale, motivation, and peer connection across clinical and non-clinical teams
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in employee engagement, HR, organizational development, or related areas
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role with direct oversight of large-scale people programs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute culture-forward strategies in a distributed or multi-site organization
  • Deep understanding of employee lifecycle and experience design
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence across levels
  • Passion for creating spaces where people feel respected, heard, and inspired
