Job Description 

The Human Resources Coordinator is a trusted member of the Staff Services team, supporting the Human Resource and general administrative needs of the company’s staff. The daily work of this position directly impacts employee satisfaction and productivity for the entire staff.  This position is critically impactful to ensuring that any new candidate had both a great first impression and consistent ongoing experience of the company’s commitment to high quality of professional experience for any staff member in any position. 

This position reports to the Director, Human Resources.

Hourly Rate: Starting at $20/hr

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist with the maintenance of HR files and documentation in company filing system and data platforms (e.g., Avature, Central Reach and ADP)
  • Respond and provide assistance with internal and external HR inquiries
  • Coordinate HR presentations including but not limited to New Hire Training Orientation 
  • Assist with various HR tasks and initiatives related to HR department touchpoints on Benefits, Worker’s Compensation/Risk, Employee Engagement, Offboarding and others.
  • Provide general administrative support for various departmental projects and/or events.
  • Maintain department Intranet site and employee resource repository
  • Support other functions as assigned

  • Advanced customer service skills, professional presentation in all interactions with staff, vendors and others
  • Detail-oriented and organized: keeps track of multiple projects and priorities using documented organizations tools, plans, timelines
  • Self-disciplined: approaches work with consistency, reliability and punctuality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to communicate effectively without grammatical or spelling errors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player attitude: able to build rapport and trust with colleagues and demonstrate alignment with team’s priorities
Education
  • High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree
